Ockeroid is a versatile composer, specialising in games and animation.
An internet native from Sheffield, UK. Their signature style sways between playful, funky beats and somber, evocative atmospheres. A veteran of the online animation scene, providing music for hundreds of projects. They have become known within the independent web animation community for versatility and ability to enhance and elevate a project.

Ockeroid uses their deep understanding of the the medium to bring the most out of a project and bring a sense of storytelling to the work.
Ockeroid is currently working on “Crow Country” by SFB Games (Creators of “Snipperclips”), an atmospheric horror that pays homage to PlayStation 1 games. Coming to PS5 and PC in 2024.
Ockeroid is also the sole composer of the indie animated series “Monkey Wrench”, helmed by a prominent internet animator Zeurel. Currently 3 full leanth episodes in, Ockeroid has created a funky, greasy and playful guitar driven score to match the anarchic nature of the show.
In 2020 Ockeroid worked with InnerSloth (creators of the multiplayer sensation “Among Us”), to contribute to "The Henry Stickmin HD Collection" a playfully innocent, choose your own adventure game. Entertaining millions through the hundreds of Let's Play reactions from many popular YouTubers. Notably Markiplier, who was brought to tears when the music swelled in the emotional "Valiant Hero" sequence. Ockeroid wrote this emotional piano score, spawning many fan piano covers.
Ockeroid collaborated with notable animator Sr Pelo on "COMEDY" also released in 2020, creating a chaotic, disorientating groove, affectionately named "Panic Attack Jazz" genre by fans. The track fit perfectly with Pelo's notoriously chaotic and disjointed work.
In one of their earliest collaborations, the “K.O.L.M.” game was well received and noted for its "dark, depressing tone and haunting piano soundtrack" by MTV News. Ockeroid’s music was also used throughout development to inspire the emotion and pacing of the game.
Over the years Ockeroid has also worked with many other high profile online creators, including Cas van de Pol, Harry Partridge, RedMinus, RubberNinja, Parker Simmons (creator of Mao Mao) and Eddsworld. Smoothly adapting to many vastly different styles of work and audiences.
Ockeroid studied at the highly regarded Directing Animation course at National Film & Television School. Ockeroid's own experience in animation gives him an intimate knowledge of the process. Which they use to mould to the unique needs of each project and best support the creators. They use a deep understanding of the strengths and limitations of the medium to bring the most out of a project and bring a sense of storytelling to their work.
